About the House

Paris Mountain House is a historic residence located on Paris Mountain Farm in the lush Ellett Valley outside Blacksburg, Virginia on the North Fork of the Roanoke River.  The  current elegant three bedroom,  three bathroom house evolved over time from a one room log house with a loft built around 1779, to  a four room Federal style house with rooms added to the original log section in 1800 and 1818. It was converted to an antebellum Greco-Roman Revival style manor house with additional rooms added around 1840. The house has been renovated  with modern comforts and conveniences while staying true to its historical integrity.
