Here at Paris Mountain Farm, we are committed not only to conservation and sustainability, but also to community. We welcome opportunities for public collaboration. Some past examples of our community engagement include:

  • Hosted the first annual Virginia Tech Big Plant, during which student and community volunteers planted hundreds of trees;

  • Provided field research opportunities for Virginia Tech students in various programs including Forestry, Biology, Wildlife Conservation and Environmental Resources Management;

  • Invited the Lifelong Learning Institute, in partnership with the New River Land Trust, to visit and learn about some of our conservation measures;

  • Served as a host site for a comparative Migratory and Nesting Bird Study investigating the benefits of our regenerative grazing practices.
